About Us

Halloween 2025 marks our 5th season, and each year, we've exponentially enhanced our haunt. We are becoming quite the tourist attraction both locally in Stanly County, and growing our audience to make our name known across North Carolina. Our unique trail is nestled on the historic Brickyard property in Norwood, NC. The Brickyard was built in the early 1900’s employed hundreds of people as one of the biggest brick manufactures. This land has been sitting unused for years any we are excited to bring it back to life. Sawyers Slaughter is filled with hidden live actors and props across 13+ immersive scenes, ensuring no two seasons are ever the same. Sawyer’s Slaughter was born out of a at the time-4 year olds dream to have a haunt. It began in his grandparents front yard as a free event for trick or treaters and has grew every year into a terrifyingly awesome haunted trail. This is a must-see Halloween attraction!

Notice to Parents: While there are no age restrictions the staff of the Sawyer's Slaughter asks parents to use their judgement for their own children.
